The advantage of using this chain as an escalator part is that the connecting link plates are press fit to maintain the higher fatigue resistance and each connecting links are fitted with high-strength spring pins. In addition, the pins of this chain are made of complete hardened steel, which delivers hardiness rather than apparent hardness.
